The Fatality of Purity Essay

Book Review " The Loss of life of Innocence” By: Sibling Helen Prejean Wallis Belcher

In Prejean's book, the Death of Innocence, she took and shared with someone her hands-on experiences and eyewitness accounts of wrongful executions and death penalty sentences. The girl spent the complete book presenting the reader to two convicted felons and writing their reports of their trip to delivery. Prejean's position on the fatality penalty is almost immediate and clear; she actually is whole-heartily and passionately against the death fees and is undertaking all in her power to eliminate it. Throughout the entire publication she argues how it is both morally wrong, as well as constitutionality. Prejean's argument resistant to the death penalty is equally effective and powerful. She passionately stands by her morals and beliefs, and convincingly affects the reader's opinion to skew on the opposition of the punishment. In my personal experience of reading the book, We felt really moved by Prejean's argument and that helped further developed and expand my personal view on the death fees. Going into this kind of assignment, I blindly was standing against the death penalty. After researching the subject and scanning this book, nearly I stand stronger against the punishment, nevertheless I can back my viewpoints and disputes up with creditable information. Reading the book was in not a way a waste of resources, and not only would I recommend that to any scholar wanting to learn more about the loss of life penalty, although also to anyone enthusiastic about reading a stimulating, challenging book. The book elaborated and taught me more about the appeasement process, different legal courts, constitutional rights, evidence within a court system, and the defendant/prosecutors roles in the court system. What I discovered most from your book involved the appeasement process, as well as the numerous levels of courts and process to access the tennis courts defendants need to go through to be heard and re-triad. The sole criticism I have about the book is definitely Prejean's deficiency of...
